Disclosure of any information by you is strictly voluntary. However, delays in providing you requested materials may result by not providing complete information. This website does not collect any personal inforamtion. If you chose to send information to the Army Most Wanted Fugitive website, we will only share the information you give us with another government agency if your inquiry relates to that agency, or as otherwise required by law. We never create individual profiles or give it to any private organizations. The Army Most Wanted Fugitives website never collects information for commercial marketing. While you must provide an e-mail address or postal address for a response other than those generated automatially in response to questions or comments that you may submit, we recommend that you NOT include any other personal information, especially Social Security numbers. The Social Security Administration offers additional guidance on sharing your Social Security number.

For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, this government computer system does not allow remote connections. Unauthorized attempts to access, upload or change information on this service are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act (18 U.S.C. ยง 1030).

Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, no other attempts are made to identify individual users or their usage habits. Raw data logs are used for no other purposes; all data collection activities are in strict accordance with DoD standards.

Fugitives.army.mil DOES NOT use persistent cookies (persistent tokens that pass information back and forth from the client machine to the server). Fugitives.army.mil may use session cookies (tokens that remain active only until you close your browser) in order to make the site easier to use. The Army Most Wanted Fugitives website DOES NOT keep a database of information obtained from these cookies. You can choose not to accept these cookies and still use the site. How We Use Cookies

These cookies allow the Army to maximize its return on investment with taxpayer dollars used for marketing purposes.

With the concerns on the Web today about the use of cookies we wanted to share with you how we use cookies on this site.

What are cookies?

Cookies are bits of information web sites gather from you, either automatically or through your input. These bits of information are stored on YOUR computer, not the Web server. When you return to a site that has stored cookies on your computer they can read them and perhaps provide you with tailored information, address you by name, send you to a part of their site you visited earlier, and even log you onto a secure site automatically!

Some things to know about cookies are:

  • Cookies can only be read by the Web server that put them there. Other sites cannot use the information you provided to our site, for example.
  • Cookies cannot store personal information unless you manually enter the information. Information about where you visited, when you visited, the last time you visited, what browser you run, and other similiar information, can be gathered automatically and stored in a Cookie. Your name, email address, SSAN, credit card information, etc. CANNOT be gathered automatically, you must enter it on a form first!
  • You can configure your browser to warn when a cookie is being set. This allows you to accept or reject cookies manually.
